The Worlds Flag - Why have it at all?
The fact that the world does not have an official flag has never ceased to baffle us. While the reasons for this are not immediately
obvious it is apparent that in this day and age a world flag was never more necessary. Flags are a symbol of
heritage and belonging, a shared collective group under a single banner.
No defining emblem.
In plain language it seems strange that although every nation on Earth has its own flag, the planet we live on has no such defining emblem. We want to change this and accordingly we have created a design we are determined to have recognised as the official world flag - an emblem that we believe is an accurate representation of the planet that is our home.
Devoid of national interest.
The idea for The Worlds Flag is one that is devoid of any national interest or self serving advantage that would seek to promote any people, culture, or belief above any other.
Neutral witness.
The Worlds Flag concept is essentially neutral to the problems that cause wars and enmity between nations, yet at the same time resolute that such reasons be resolved under a common spirit of understanding. Towards this aim we take a first important step - the implementation of a universal world flag. A flag that above all is a neutral witness to the the greatness of a planet that deserves a better future.
Permanent Emblem.
We intend The Worlds Flag to become a permamnet emblem of this world we live in. A flag to be flown proudly alongside the national flag of each world nation, and also one that can be a uniting influence at major international events whether political, sporting, cultural, or religious.
Proud to fly it
With unbending determination we shall pursue the vision of this goal to a successful conclusion - so that in time every nation on this planet will be proud to fly the independent flag of a truly united planet
A single world banner to unite the world and its people.
