The Worlds Flag - Who are we?
Our campaign for an official world flag was launched in the autumn of 2002. The motivating factor was the realisation that this
planet that is our home deserves a flag of its own. Accordingly we created a design that we believe is fully
representative of this world we live in. It is our hope that by creating this neutral world emblem it will stimulate pride in a greater awareness of what it is to be an inhabitant of this incredible planet.
Equal opportunity
It is an undoubted fact that war and strife occur through lack of common understanding. Throughout the history of Mankind this has been a formidable obstacle towards universal peace. This has reached the point where many actively despair that true world peace can ever be achieved. However we believe that the first and most important step towards a truly global outlook is the creation of a world flag. At a stroke it emphasises the image of a world that is common to everyone that inhabits it. A world that not only deserves to be at peace with itself but one that provides equal opportunity for people everywhere.
